About us
PORTLINGUA is an umbrella company for a wide range of activities and services from
organising film festivals and providing complete festival services, to linguistic
services, technical solutions, film production, related services, cooperation with
non-profit making sector and others.
PORTLINGUA has always considered its external as well as very internal collaborators,
who participate on the company’s activities, as its greatest asset. For it is thanks
to their abilities, their sensitivity, knowledge and personal sacrifices that the
company is able to do its activities at the current degree.
The year 2003 represents a milestone (and the fulfilment of even undreamed-of dreams)
as the fathers and founders of the company were by the coincidence of very auspicious
factors invited to cooperate with the
Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. PORLINGUA has today the honour
to be in touch with the “very heart of the festival” and directly participate on
the mediation of the film experience to (not only) the Czech audiences.
